Fantastic location overlooking the town and the beach. Quite interesting house, but the "gastronomic museo" seems to be the building and the wall paintings. The menu is not to exciting, reminds a lot of the same at Horno de Candida. This could be the star place of Almunecar with a better menu and more quality food.

We agree the location is fantastic - we went for dinner there on August 15th and watched the fireworks. Totally agree it could be a fantastic place. The meal and service was average and much like the Horno de Cadidad as I think they are the same family (father & son !!)

Went to Casa Morgan in June 2009 and had a wonderful meal one evening. The Oxtail stew was to die for. Went back later on in the year and had another meal which wasn't quite as good. Way too much salt in everything. Took my mother there for lunch today for Mother's Day and we were very disappointed. It has really gone down hill. Three of us were served our meal and my daughter had to wait another 15 mins for hers. The vegetables used to come out in a separate dish but now already on the plates, lifeless and very greasy. We asked for extra gravy and it was a jug of lumpy mush. My mother ordered roast potatoes but got chips and when we queried this we got a plate of boiled potatoes, two of which were black! The waiter seemed quite surprised when we complained! Fantastic location and could be an amazing restaurant. Very disappointed!!
