great restaurant on unpopular end of town, good service good food and reasonable prices. Don’t envy waiters negotiating the stairs for every request!!! Love the place.

Undoubtly one of the best restaurants in town. Charming place, great chef with wonderful food and impressive sauces. Try the pollo og the cordero. Awaiting some new gems in the meny!

Excellent, great pasta and the lamb was very, very nice. I agree it is at the less popular end of town but the terrace is lovely.

This place has the best cheese cake in the world, I have to eat it every time I am there! The chicken is also one of my favorite meals in Almunecar.

What a wonderful place, with probably the best food in town. Add to that extremely friendly, smiling and serviceminded staff, nice prices, a good wine list - what more can you want?!

We eat at El Arbol regularly for the reason that the food, wine and service are very good and the price reasonable. It provides more finesse to the bland, sameness and poor service found in a lot of the local Spanish restaurants and so, when we have visitors, we also like to take them to El Arbol. El Arbol also provide vegetables with a meal -something that seems to be sadly and unhealthily missing from most Spanish meals and they don't cover all the food in lashings of salt.

After some bad experiences in Almunecar we found this restaurant. The food, service & ambiance was amazing. Price/quality is very good. Do yourself a pleasure and go to this restaurant.
