Came on viewing advert offering incredible deals on food and drinks. All in all good value but I feel that you are only getting what you pay for. Drinks in happy hour can only be taken at the bar! small glasses big ice and a splash of Gin/Vodka. Beers are good value especially by the bottle. Food was ok I had the Beef steak and wished Id had the burger, My wife had spaghetti and enjoyed it. Very cheap all round. If your on a very tight budget this is the place for you.

MY WIFE AND I ATE AT THIS INTERNATIONAL RESTAURANT A WHILE BACK, THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD. GREAT ATMOSPHERE IN THE BAR AND WONDERFUL DÉCOR IN THE DINING ROOM. THE SERVICE WAS FRIENDLY AND TIMES WAITED WERE AVERAGE. THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD AND PLENTY OF CHOICE. ON THE DOWN SIDE…NOT ENOUGH VEG (HAD TO ASK FOR MORE), NO PRICES ON WINE !!! AND TO SMOKEY IN THE BAR…ON THE PLUS SIDE, GOOD VARID MENU AND FRIENDLY OWNERS

We ate here on a Friday evening for the first time, it was pretty busy and the food was fine (good quality), for a nice price. Also good tapas, we are coming back this summer .

A complete change of owner, management and staff since our last visit. The menu has also changed and is now much more reasonable. Chuleton (the big cut) for 14 euros was well priced and enjoyable, perhaps a little work on accompaniments would help ... chips and a couple of veg were left on the plate. The only real cause for complaint though was the lack of timing, our main course was served while in the middle of our starter leaving us with more of a buffet feel ... very friendly service but nevertheless it was all a little awkward.

Excellent restaurant, I think one of the best in Almunecar. Good food, good service, great atmosphere and reasonable prices. The food was very good and copious, with plenty of choice. Strongly recommended!

I think the waiters speak every language going, happy hour is fantastic, 2 for the price of one and we always find ourselves in the restaurant afterwards. Such nice people, one of our favourite places to go in Almunecar.

Returned to this place to find it has new owners, good value happy hour but the food was shocking, cheap ingredients and very poor quality. Why do some almunecar restaurants think they can serve rubbish and people will return!!

We last ate here yesterday on a visit to our friends. Have been going here for years and since the new owners have taken over the place is always busy. We had a really good meal on Wednesday evening and the chef came from another restaurant we used in the past. Lovely Dutch owners, extremely friendly and remembered it was our last day and came out to say goodbye. Very personal service and you are made to feel special. This is always my first stop for a glass of wine and my last one with a few in between. Also many Spanish use it which is often a good indication that it is a decent bar/rest. Always good tapas. Here's to my next visit.

Has gone to the dogs, some bizarre drinks rules if you happen to pop in when its happy hour .. for some reason you are unable to take your drinks to a table to eat. We never went there for happy hour so just ended up just leaving our drinks at the bar. The evening went from bad to worse when we ordered the 'special' hamburger and the XXL pork chop - 'special' must mean buns from lidls and sausage burgers and the XXL chop was a joke - small, overcooked, horrible. Now offering cafe standard food at best, they've gone for cheap and forgotten about quality completely.

My wife and I decided to try this restaraunt for lunch, as we walked in most of the tables were reserved so we found a table on the terrace where there were five other english people with there drinks we sat and waited for service and waited and waited, a man came out of the restaraunt and started to chat to the five english people who were obviously regulars, he looked at us but never said a word, we waited and waited for some service but it never came. After waiting for a good twenty minutes we decided to leave. If you are the type of person that likes food for your lunch and expect service as well this is not the place for you.
