I like most northern europeans love curry, this place is well decorated, has the olbligatory indian music and the food is at best average indian fare. If you havent had one for a while then go, have heard that if the owner is cooking avoid. On the whole ok to cure the curry cravings !!

We have had a few very good meals at this indian restaurant, far better that the one at the other end of town. Lately not as good as it used to be and since discovering the light of india in torrox we think twice and usually drive 30k for a really good Indian.

Went on Friday evening, the food was very good (Chilli chicken massala) and the service was attentive and prompt. One fault...no atmosphere, not completely the owners fault. The restaurant seems a bit dour and lacking life. No other clients the whole time of our visit. Didnt see any offers or encouragement to entice custom. It felt like we were sat in a morgue, enjoying nice food.

Went again this week and now not just really cold but still no atmosphere!!!! The food was very good but so depressing sat in a resturant with just the two of us. I feel so sorry for the owners that this place is not better supported. Think I will get a take away next time.

I have been here over the last 4 years, 2 years ago I would say it was the best Indian I have ever been too. However went again this week and not as good as it used to be. The owner Khan is not around so much these days who was i belive is the main chef. However, it is still the best in town for the moment. But for how long??
